The Educational Foundation funds projects and activities, submitted by registered charitable organizations, that contribute to civic education and strengthen democratic institutions in Canada and internationally. Projects must demonstrate how they will contribute to the mission of the Foundation and are approved by its Board of Directors.

In addition, the Foundation carries out educational activities through its members, former parliamentarians of Canada, who share their knowledge and experience on Canada’s parliamentary democracy on a volunteer basis.
