What we Fund
The CAFP Educational Foundation funds projects and activities, submitted by registered charitable organizations, that contribute to civic education and strengthen democratic institutions in Canada and internationally. Projects must demonstrate how they will contribute to the mission of the Foundation and are approved by its Board of Directors.
Parliament to campus
Our P2C Program has a new coordinator! We are pleased to announce that Mary Lynne Thomas has joined the team and will be coordinating all requests moving forward.
Parliament to Campus seeks to bring former Parliamentarians, either in person or by using virtual technology, to university campuses to speak to university students. During a Parliament to Campus session, a former Parliamentarian shares their insights and experience of serving in elected office.
Do you Have Expertise to Share?
We encourage our members to share their real-world knowledge and experiences with post-secondary students in Canada. If you would like to contribute to an important conversation about political life, or have a former parliamentarian speak to your class, please send an email to our academic coordinator, Mary Lynne Thomas at [email protected], indicating your interest.
